Gurbaz will be joining teammates Rashid Khan and Noor Ahmad in the Gujarat group
The Gujarat Titans are expected to hire Rahmanullah Gurbaz to replace Jason Roy, who dropped out of the 2022 Indian Premier League last month.
The selection is not exactly the same as closing the gap on England striker who hit hard but Gujarat Titans' management, Cricbuzz understands, decided to recall the current issue of Wriddhiman Saha. Saha was expected to be their first goalkeeper but they wanted to choose to postpone so that they would not be caught off guard by the unexpected turn of events.
The Titans have another referee, Matthew Wade, but with Cricket Australia (CA) out, the Australian players on contract will not play in the IPL until April 6. The IPL starts on March 26 and the Gujarat Titans will play with other players playing for the first time. The Lucknow Super Giants in their first game on March 28th.
